Before you leave home, be sure to book a dog-friendly hotel, B&B or campsite and download some of our dog-friendly walking trails taking in sandy beaches, bays and cliff top paths. Check out our growing number of dog-friendly pubs, restaurants, cafes, art galleries and attractions. And if your dog loves the sea, why not set sail on a boat trip to find your sea-faring legs together!

Dog with ball on beach

You and your dog will absolutely love exploring the coastline together between Ramsgate and Broadstairs, walking along deserted sandy beaches beneath a backdrop of white chalk cliffs for miles and miles. Your dog could even join you geocaching to dig up hidden treasure (bones!) or on a Costumed Walk to partake in Ramsgate’s thespian vibe!

Sniff out new local flavours at our dog-friendly cafés and restaurants. Discover public art and coastal sounds on a walk around the Royal Harbour. And end the day with a pint of craft beer from one of our many dog-friendly local pubs and taverns.

In dog-friendly Ramsgate, expect to find welcome signs, bowls of fresh water and plenty of ear-scratches for your visiting pup. Check out our growing number of dog-friendly businesses below to plan your trip and look out for our Dog-Friendly welcome sign in their windows.
