At Chapel House Estate, we create unforgettable, bespoke weddings and unique celebrations, surrounded by nature – blending elegance with sustainability through our home-grown produce, local partnerships, and eco-friendly practices that preserve and enhance our 35-acre estate sitting right on the rural western border of Ramsgate

Wedding Venue :

Our beautifully restored wedding venue and estate give you the freedom to create unique memories. All-out or low-key. Indoor and Outdoor options available.

Accomodation :

We can accommodate a total of 38 people on-site:

  • The Chapel House accommodates up to 10 people, with 4 ensuite rooms and 1 room with bunk beds.
  • Chapel Cottage accommodates 6 people, with 3 bedrooms (one with bunk beds). All rooms share a bathroom.
  • Thorne Cottage, situated next to Chapel Cottage has two bedrooms, which sleeps up to 4 people.
  • We have nine Hideaway Lodges, each accommodating two adults. We can also provide additional beds in certain rooms or lodges, for children, for an extra fee.

The couple allocates accommodation to guests and provides a code for guests to book.

Number Nine Restaurant

Nestled next to the new Glass Courtyard, in the heart of Kent’s Garden of England, our Number Nine Restaurant hosts generous feasts filled with the best seasonal, local food, where everyone is welcome to join us.

Set within the Glass Courtyard, guests can also enjoy bold, seasonal dishes cooked live over fire using a bespoke barbecue grill, traditional spit roast, and wood-fired pizza oven. With greenery-filled surroundings and a relaxed, social atmosphere, it’s a new way to enjoy dining at Number Nine throughout the seasons.

Accessibility :

Step-free access is available throughout the key event spaces, including the Thorne Barn, the Glass Courtyard, Number Nine Restaurant.

Accessible toilets are available in the Thorne Barn and restaurant.

Designated disabled parking bays are located close to the restaurant.

The grounds are slightly uneven throughout the gardens; however, surrounding the gardens, the grounds are predominantly flat and well-maintained, with hard paths suitable for wheelchairs and mobility aids.

Dog friendly :

Yes. Assistance dogs are welcome across the estate.
