Happy 2021! 

I am trying to stay positive even if the New Year has started in much the same way as the last one ended, which I think you’ll agree is miserably!  Whilst we all languish in lockdown III, what is there to be positive about I ask myself?  Well, living in Ramsgate is certainly a bonus and one of my reasons to feel happy!  We have so many beautiful walking and cycling trails giving us the opportunity to enjoy our coastline, explore some of our architecture or learn more about our local history with around 20 trails to choose from.  Dare [...]

Ramsgreat Week

This October half-term, Visit Ramsgate and Ramsgate Arts are proud to present ‘Ramsgreat Week’ - a nine-day festival taking place from Saturday 24 October - Sunday 1 November featuring events (live and online), art trails , storytelling events and gallery exhibitions happening at multiple locations across the South Thanet town. Most events are free of charge. Guided Kingfisher Walks

Enjoy an Autumn & Winter Nature Walk with wildlife filmmaker Keith Ross @ramsgatebirds. From Sept to March Kingfishers over winter in Ramsgate Harbour. This is a great chance to see these very elusive birds in a very unusual setting. Kingfisher Harbour walk ( 1-2 hours) – £10 per person (Max 4 – Min 2 people. Solo tour £20). Festival of Sound 2020
