Active Ramsgate Week returns for eight days full of fun-filled activities for families and individuals alike – and all for free! Whether you fancy a guided walk in nature, seal spotting from a kayak, touring our magnificent bays and beaches by boat, or relaxing with a soothing massage – the choice is yours. Ramsgate Town Council is proud to be working with over 20 local businesses to provide a range of options during half term week – a perfect way to keep children entertained and adults activated.

Books, sea air and a brand-new festival. The Ramsgate Literary Festival runs from the 23rd to the 30th of May 2026 at ‘The Book Hotel at The Falstaff’ in Addington Street.

338 : Ramsgate Remembers
From 15th May to 28th June, the historic harbour at Ramsgate will become the setting for a powerful and moving tribute as Standing with Giants installs 338 life-sized silhouettes along the quayside, honouring the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of those involved in the Dunkirk evacuation of 1940.

The big event this month is the finale of the Ramsgate Winter Festival on the 14th of February. There will be Art workshops ‘It’s a Love Thing’ hosted by Arts in Ramsgate and Discovery Planet. Ramsgate Town Council will be launching a loyalty campaign ‘We are Ramsgate – 20 for Ramsgate’. All happening at Ramsgate Space in Albert Court.
