A La Turka

The A La Turka restaurant prides itself on being one of the few places in Kent that serves authentic cuisine specifically originating from Gaziantep, a city in south-eastern Turkey famous as a “food paradise” on the historic Silk Road. The founder, Mehmet Dari, grew up in a farming family in Gaziantep and brought his mother’s traditional recipes and a farm-to-table philosophy to the UK.

The restaurant has a contemporary yet cozy and romantic setting inside, paired with an open-plan bar and kitchen area. Large parasols line the outside seating area, making it a popular spot for seaside dining during warmer months.
