Ramsgate Boating Pool
The boating pool located on the West Cliff Promenade was originally a bandstand with a tea pavilion, opened in August 1929.
Today, it’s a vibrant bar, café, and family hub serving up, breakfast, craft burgers and wood-fired pizza alongside outdoor activities for all ages.
Café & Bar :
Café – casual dining, breakfast, burgers and pizza. The Pizza is from Dough Eyes Pizza.
Roasts on Sundays (starts in Autumn).
There’s lots of outside seating overlooking the Boating Pool.
Bar – regularly booked for private hires, wedding receptions, parties etc. Lots of outside seating overlooking the Boating Pool.
Activities :
The Boating Pool has pedalos you can hire during the summer holidays. The pool is also used on a regular basis (Thursday & Sunday 9:30 – 11 am) by the Ramsgate – Vikings Model Boat Club.
Alongside the pool, there are dedicated kids’ play areas featuring a selection of swings, small amusements, arcade games, and electric go-karts or trikes.
