Ramsgate has two clifftop promenades East Cliff Promenade and West Cliff Promenade.

East Cliff Promenade

East Cliff Promenade is a scenic coastal walkway. Spanning both the top of the chalk cliffs and a flat, paved sea-level path, it blends rich Victorian and Regency heritage with dramatic views across the English Channel toward the French coastline.

West Cliff Promenade

West Cliff Promenade is a historic clifftop walkway offering sweeping views of the English Channel and the Royal Harbour. Developed largely in the 1920s, it features scenic gardens, leisure spots, and local heritage sites linking the town top to the Western Undercliff.

You can also walk down the sloped walkways to the left and right of the Ramsgate Boating Pool Cafe and Bar.
