Ramsgate Royal Harbour

Ramsgate Royal Harbour is a stunning Grade II* listed landmark. It is the only harbour in the United Kingdom that has the official right to call itself “Royal”. It was granted royal status by King George IV in 1821. Click here for more historical information.

Ramsgate’s harbour is a defining characteristic of the town and today, the Royal Harbour effortlessly blends its 24/7 working industry, hosting commercial fishing fleets and offshore wind farm support vessels, with a thriving, cosmopolitan waterfront scene.
