Over the years, The Churchill Tavern has transformed from being the site of the Isabella Baths (1816), a boarding house and the Paragon Hotel (1868), the Van Gogh Pub (1961), Steptoe’s Pub (1983) and finally to it’s current state as The Churchill Tavern (1988).
Located in a listed building directly overlooking Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour Marina, the husband and wife team of Marc & Anastasiya Campos offer a contemporary take on classic European cuisine. Classic dishes with a fine sprinkling of fusion flair.
Take a step back in time at the Home Front Tea Room, with its authentic 1940’s interior; there’s something about the collective bygone memories this place triggers that resurrects the spirit of camaraderie and friendship of a lost age.

We take great pride in our club, its facilities and the great reputation the Royal Temple Yacht Club has earned over the years for its hospitality. Beneath Ramsgate lies an abandoned labyrinth of tunnels which extends for more than 3 miles around the town. This unique underground city was constructed as part of the town’s Air Raid Precautions in 1939 and includes a former main line railway tunnel dating back to 1863.

The Falstaff opens a new chapter as The Book Hotel.
First recorded as a public house in 1801, The Falstaff has stood watch over Ramsgate’s West Cliff through storm and sunshine for over two hundred years.
There has been an ice cream parlour at 76 Harbour Parade for over 70 years. In 2014, the parlour was bought by Nick and Rachel who are continuing the tradition of great Italian ice cream at the Ramsgate seaside.
We also serve hot drinks including Illy coffee and a rather special hot chocolate along with toasties, cakes and waffles.
