The boating pool was originally a bandstand with a tea pavilion, opened in August 1929.
Today, it’s a vibrant bar, café, and family hub serving up breakfast, craft burgers and wood-fired pizza alongside outdoor activities for all ages.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on our boats. Please let us know you will be bringing your dog along at the time of booking.
Board at Sandwich Quay or Ramsgate harbour, travel along the River Stour towards Shellness Point, on the edge of the Pegwell nature reserve. See the resident seal colony, cormorants and herons.

Little Seaside Town is an exciting entertainment centre for children and families.
Unlike traditional soft play centres, Little Seaside Town promotes imaginative role play in a stimulating play town environment. Little Seaside Town is a new concept of role play, providing a realistic but scaled down version of a town for young children to play in and to explore safely.

Our group is run by dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Whatever the weather, so long as members of the public turn up, we carry on the walks.
We do not make a charge for the walks and ask only for donations towards the cost of costumes and printing of leaflets.
If you like to keep your feet firmly on the ground start with a round of golf or hit a few balls down at the golf range, finished off with a round or two in the 19th hole of course!

Join Keith Ross wildlife filmmaker on a six mile Nature Walk from Ramsgate Westcliff to Pegwell Bay Nature Reserve.
The walk can be done at any time of year but the wildlife will vary with the seasons. Depending on the time of year we would hope to see a wide variety of wildlife including the worlds fastest bird the Peregrine Falcon.

Enjoy an Autumn & Winter Nature Walk with wildlife filmmaker Keith Ross @ramsgatebirds. From September to March Kingfishers over winter in Ramsgate Harbour. This is a great chance to see these very elusive birds in a very unusual setting.
Kingfisher Harbour walk ( 1-2 hours) – £10 per person (Max 4 – Min 2 people. Solo tour £20).

Monkton Nature Reserve, managed by the Thanet Countryside Trust, is situated in an 16 acre abandoned chalk quarry on the Isle of Thanet in East Kent. There are over 350 species of flowering plant, including 8 species of orchid, and 25 species of butterfly have been recorded, along with innumerable other species of insect, mammal and bird-life.
Ramsgate’s No 1 Family Attraction. Boulevard Amusements features a range of entertainment from classic Space Invaders and Pacman to modern Mario Kart racing and basketball hoops. You can win tickets from various machines to exchange for prizes, ranging from sweets and keyrings to larger plush toys.
