Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum

Come and see the iconic RAF fighter planes of the Second World War, the Supermarine Spitfire Mk XVI and the Hawker Hurricane IIC, housed under one museum roof at the historic Battle of Britain airfield in Manston, Kent.

Experience flying a Spitfire with our amazing simulator.

Sitting alongside our genuine Second World War Spitfire MkXVI, the simulator will help to answer in part, the age old question of “what is was like to fly a Spitfire?”.

Using authentic WWII controls, visitors will be able to take off, fly and land a Mk XVI Spitfire whilst sitting in a realistic cockpit!

Museum is FREE (donations welcome).
