For over 28 years Sea Searcher Boat Trips have been offering thousands of holiday makers sightseeing trips around Ramsgate’s harbours, and more recently, wildlife watching and seal spotting trips.
We can also convert the boat to enable disabled access for pre arranged group booking for our seal and fishing trips.

RAF Manston History Museum

The RAF Manston History Museum is a dedicated aviation museum that chronicles the history of the former RAF Manston airfield from its origins in 1916 through to its closure as a civilian airport in 2014.

St George’s Church is a Grade l listed building, it is a hub for a number of community activities and events in Ramsgate. It is widely known for its unique Lantern Tower, which stands 136 feet high and historically served as a navigational aid for sailors in the English Channel.

Monkton Nature Reserve

Monkton Nature Reserve, managed by the Thanet Countryside Trust, is situated in an 16 acre abandoned chalk quarry on the Isle of Thanet in East Kent. There are over 350 species of flowering plant, including 8 species of orchid, and 25 species of butterfly have been recorded, along with innumerable other species of insect, mammal and bird-life.

Guided Kingfisher Walks
Enjoy an Autumn & Winter Nature Walk with wildlife filmmaker Keith Ross @ramsgatebirds. From Sept to March Kingfishers over winter in Ramsgate Harbour. This is a great chance to see these very elusive birds in a very unusual setting.

The boating pool was originally a bandstand with a tea pavilion, opened in August 1929.

Ramsgate to Pegwell Nature Walk
Join Keith Ross wildlife filmmaker on a six mile Nature Walk from Ramsgate Westcliff to Pegwell Bay Nature Reserve.
The walk can be done at any time of year but the wildlife will vary with the seasons. Depending on the time of year we would hope to see a wide variety of wildlife including the worlds fastest bird the Peregrine Falcon.

Pegwell Bay Country Park (Nature Reserve)
