Kick off your morning with a delicious brew and a fresh pastry at Giant Coffee or Staple.

Ramsgate Tunnels Tour
Take a fascinating guided tour through local history.

Remember to book in advance! The tunnels stay at a chilly 11°C (52°F), so bring a warm layer and wear flat, sturdy shoes for the uneven ground.

Royal Harbour Stroll
Stretch your legs along the vibrant waterfront.

Follow the Harbour Heritage Trail to discover the area’s rich maritime history.

Lunchtime Delights
Option 1 (Sit-down): Head to Wandering Hut inside the historic Custom House for wonderful Mediterranean food.

Option 2 (Seaside Takeaway): Grab classic fish and chips from Peter’s Fish Factory to eat by the marina wall, or from Papa’s Fish & Chips to enjoy right on the beach.

Scenic Coastal Stroll
Enjoy a leisurely walk along the wide, golden sands of Ramsgate Main Sands.

If you prefer a clifftop perspective with panoramic sea views, head up to King George VI Memorial Park instead to admire the beautiful Italianate Glasshouse.

Scenic Coffee Break
Time to recharge! If you chose the beach route, pop into the colorful Perico Lounge with its outside seating directly overlooking the beachfront.

If you opted for the park stroll, you can head up via the Augusta (Rainbow) Steps to Coast at The Granville Theatre with it’s elevated panoramic sea views across the beach and the open sea or via the East Cliff (Winterstoke) Chine to grab a quick drink at Alison’s Sea View Cafe Kiosk in the park (Café opens weather-permitting from early Feb/March to late November).

Vintage Shopping Hunt
Head slightly inland to explore the massive Petticoat Lane Emporium. It’s a treasure hunter’s paradise featuring a giant warehouse packed with over 200 independent traders selling vintage goods. (Note: Closes early at 4:00 pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays, so keep an eye on the clock!)

Pre-Dinner Drinks & Sunsets*
Kick off your evening with drinks on the grand beachside terrace of the Royal Victoria Pavilion a spectacular historic spot right on the sands. If you are looking for a cozier, more intimate vibe, head up to the West Cliff Arcade to sip a crafted cocktail at Bar Finn

If the timing is right, you’ll get to watch a beautiful sunset over the sea with a glass in hand. (*Subject to the time of the year).

Dinner with a View
Wrap up your day with a memorable meal in one of Ramsgate’s scenic restaurants. Booking ahead is highly recommended! Depending on your mood, you can try:

• Italian: Head to Porto Reale on Harbour Parade or check out Marechiaro tucked into the West Cliff Arcade.
• Global Flavours: Treat yourself to French dishes at Marc Pierres Kitchen or vibrant flavors at Thai Orchid. (Just keep in mind that both Marc Pierre’s and Thai Orchid are typically closed on Sundays).
