Royal Parade Arches
The Royal Parade Arches and retaining walls helped create a grand route between the harbour and West Cliff, combining practical engineering with decorative rockwork, terracotta details and sweeping harbour views.
The Royal Parade Arches are part of the self guided Pulhamite Trail.
Westcliff Arcade
Perched immediately above the lower maritime tier, Westcliff Arcade offers some of the most dramatic, panoramic coastal vistas in the region.

Jacob’s Ladder
At the eastern edge, the upper cliff is connected back down to the harbour floor via Jacob’s Ladder, a famous Grade II-listed, six-flight dogleg staircase.
Though originally intended to be used as maritime warehouses, the Grade II-listed arches have transformed into a thriving, trendy cultural hub.
