Fantastic Fiver Fest Fortnight is back for October!
For those of us that love a good deal, especially from one of our lovely independent shops, make sure you pop into town over the next two weeks and take advantage of some of the offers that are in store. Apart from some lovely Christmas gift ideas, there are lots of fab food offers including the hearty Oak Hotel’s breakfast to get you shopping-frenzy ready!
This will be our fourth Fiver Fest which is part of a national campaign, created by Totally Locally who started these events a few years back and they are now celebrated in 100s of towns across the UK. It’s all about spreading the message that just by spending £5 in an independent business every week, in our town alone, we could collectively contribute £7.9 million a year towards the local economy!
Of course, one of the other advantages of taking part in this national campaign is that it encourages people to re-visit the town and see what’s new and gives us all a chance to support our small businesses and grab some unique gifts to boot, some of which have been especially created for this event!
So, from Saturday 8th until 22nd October, head to Ramsgate and enjoy the Festive Fiver Fest Fortnight (try saying that with my lisp!) or check out our Fiver Fest map below to plan your trip and bag as many bargains as your tote bag allows!
