Over the years, The Churchill Tavern has transformed from being the site of the Isabella Baths (1816), a boarding house and the Paragon Hotel (1868), the Van Gogh Pub (1961), Steptoe’s Pub (1983) and finally to it’s current state as The Churchill Tavern (1988).
JULY – AUGUST : Our group is run by dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Whatever the weather, so long as members of the public turn up, we carry on the walks.
We do not make a charge for the walks and ask only for donations towards the cost of costumes and printing of leaflets.
Nethercourt Touring Park is a small family fun campsite in Ramsgate. Open all year and have a utility and laundry room, a small games room, vending machines, and tourist information on site. Showers and Wi-Fi are inclusive of the pitch fee.
