Revel Puck Circus
The Revel Puck Circus presents ‘ A Glimmering Gambit’ 9-12th July on Ramsgate’s Government Acre. This is a show about hope, arrival and community. Join the Pucks in a wild ride of finding joy in the journey, not the destination.

Ramsgate Carnival & Fair
Or why not come into Ramsgate’s town centre on the 25th of July for some FREE theatrical family fun? Thanet’s own live theatre group Looping the Loop are celebrating the Bard with their very own ‘ A Midsummer Night’s Tea’ ( 25thJuly 11:00am – 2:00pm) in Charlotte Court behind Staple and York Street Flowers – plus they have FREE workshops to make things for the show at Arts in Ramsgate (last two dates are 4th and 18th July 10:00am – 1:00pm) no experience necessary just come along and create!
This show is part of Ramsgate’s legendary Carnival and Fair which takes place over the weekend of the 25th and 26th of July with a parade through town and all the fun of the fair on Government Acre. Celebrating 103 years of bringing joy to the streets of Ramsgate. The parade takes place on Sunday the 26th from 4:00pm, while the fair is on both days with a fairground and the Giants Parade on Saturday afternoon.
A Midsummer Nights Dream
August 1st East London Shakespeare Festival presents ‘ A Midsummer Nights Dream’ in Ellington Park.
Bursting with mischief, chaos, romance and magic, this joyful, family-friendly outdoor production reimagines Shakespeare’s hilarious comedy with a bold splash of contemporary flair. Escape into the enchanted forest alongside Hermia, Lysander, Helena and Demetrius as they get more than they bargained for, when a vibrant cast of magical woodland fairies take matters into their own hands.
With ELSF’s signature high-energy numbers, slapstick comedy, and audience participation, this is Shakespeare for everyone!

Ramsgate Day
Ramsgate Day celebrates the town’s connection to Sanger’s Circus with performances and activities on August 15th 10 am – 5pm.
Visitors can enjoy a packed programme of free family-friendly events across the town centre, including learning new tricks with circus skills specialists This Bean Spins and Phases Margate, who will be offering opportunities to try a range of circus disciplines and discover hidden talents. There will also be children’s craft workshops, face painting and plenty of opportunities to get creative.

Santus Circus
Then from the 6th – 31st of August we have the Santus Circus at the Lord of the Manor Roundabout. Santus Circus (Le Cirque De France) is a traditional, French family-run circus that has been touring the UK for over 35 years.

The Granville Theatre
The Granville Theatre is also hosting some notable shows.
- Evolve – a vibrant and inspiring production that celebrates growth, expression, and the joy of dance from Hasland Dance Studios on the 24th and 25th of July.
