Courtstairs Park
Courtstairs Park is a small, picturesque cliff-top green space. Positioned overlooking Pegwell Bay, it acts as a tranquil community getaway featuring a mix of modern family spaces and local wildlife initiatives.
Features & Amenities :
- Fairy Garden : A magical, volunteer-led woodland corner featuring hidden hand-painted fairy doors and decorated stones. Part of the Public Art Trail.
- Community Memory Orchard : Includes a dedicated memorial garden and a quiet orchard space.
- Play & Picnic Area : Features a well-maintained children’s leisure playground alongside open lawn sections perfect for picnics and relaxing.
- Accessibility & Walking : Pet-friendly paths make it excellent for dog walking, short jogs, and casual seaside strolls.
- Biodiversity : Home to thousands of spring daffodils planted by community volunteers to attract local birds, bees, and beetles. March through April, is when the daffodil displays emerge.

The park sits directly adjacent to Courtstairs Chine (also known as West Cliff Chine) which connects the cliff top down toward the Western Undercliff.
Dog Policy :
Dogs are welcome on the main open grass lawns and along the paved walking pathways of Courtstairs Park all year round.
Dogs are strictly prohibited from entering the children’s play area at any time.
