Radford House
Radford House is a Grade II listed historic building located on Effingham Street in Ramsgate. Built between 1715 and 1723, it originally served as a private residence, then a fire station. It is now being transformed into a vibrant community hub that’s currently hosting a mix of community events while preparing for significant renovations later this year.
Activities :
Hosts regular activities and special events, including :-
- Chat Time: Every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. This is a free, friendly drop-in session with tea, coffee, and biscuits. It occasionally features guest speakers, such as local historians or representatives from community organisations.
- The Refillable Van: Usually visits on the second Monday of each month from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (parked either outside or in the Fire Engine Hall), offering plastic-free refills for household liquids and dried goods.
