Newington Community Centre
Newington Community Centre is a resident-led community hub located in the heart of the Newington estate in Ramsgate. The centre provides flexible spaces designed to serve local residents and host private events.
Activities :
Regular activities at the Newington Community Centre include :-
- Newington Walkie Talkies (Every Monday 10:00am).
- On-Site Youth Activities (Chill Club).
- Community Lunch Clubs (Every Wednesday 12.30pm – 2:00pm).
- Community Numbers Bingo Nights (Every Wednesday 7.15pm – 9:00pm).
- Community Gardening Groups.
They also run the annual Newington Lights Festival.

Event Space :
There’s a large, bright, and highly adaptable space equipped to accommodate up to 220 people, easily divisible into two smaller sections for private parties or large community gatherings.
Commercial Training Kitchen :
Purpose-built facility designed to host up to 15 people simultaneously, used to support the community’s popular food and cookery programmes. Click here for more information.
Community Garden & Yard :
A protected, sunny outdoor space tailored for gardening groups, outdoor socialising, and communal dining.
External Decoration :
The exterior features distinctive, bright, nature-inspired murals and mosaic benches crafted alongside local artists to create an exceptionally welcoming atmosphere.
Accessibility :
Fully accessible venue featuring wheelchair-friendly entrances, dedicated parking spaces, and fully adapted restroom facilities.
