Ramsgate Winter Festival
The Festive season may be over but the Ramsgate Winter Festival is still ongoing, running a series of workshops in the lead up to the closing community celebration in February. The festival was created by and for the people of Ramsgate to light up the dark winter nights and make glorious memories that last a lifetime, as part of the festival Light Up Ramsgate invites you to wander at your own pace and discover intimate moments of colour, play, and reflection across the town.
There is also a new Art Installation joining the ‘Light up Ramsgate’ Trail on the 15th of January. It’s the ‘Event Horizon‘ installation at the Sailors Church. This immersive sound and light sculpture blends kinetic movement, shadow and sound to close the trail with an otherworldly flourish.
If you’re living in Ramsgate or visiting this month, this is your last chance to follow the Light Up Ramsgate Trail.
