Easter’s coming! Events include an Easter Beer Festival at GADDS’ The Ramsgate Brewery on the 3rd and 4th of April.

‘Hoppy Easter’ at Little Ravens on the 4th of April. Making some beautiful marbled eggs, and 3D bunny🐰 portraits.

Easter Afternoon Teas at The House at Ramsgate (3-6th April) and Number 9 Restaurant (6th April).

Easter Sunday events include the very first Handmade & Vintage Fair of the year at Pier Yard in Ramsgate Harbour,

Manston Airfield Market (Easter Special) with Face Painting, a visit from the Easter Bunny🐰 and free chocolate for the kids,

Vincent’s Easter Bunny🐰Trail,

and a Gong Bath at Gather&.

Then on the 9th of April there’s the Great Egg Case and Scavenger hunt with Beach Art – no chocolate involved!

Ramsgate Eco Market

The launch of the new Eco Market at Arts in Ramsgate on the 11th of April.

Open Cockpit Weekend

The Open Cockpit Weekend at RAF Manston History Museum is on the 11th and 12th of April – you can climb into Cockpits and have Fire Engine and Tank rides. It’s a great photo opportunity.

The Spring Parade

The St George’s Day Spring Parade is on the 19th of April. Starting at St George’s Church at noon, the parade features a smoke-breathing dragon, knights, Ramsgate’s Hooden Horses, and ‘Samba Ya Wantsum’.

In preparation for the festivities there will be free costume and prop making workshops on the 7th to 9th of April and the 13th to 18th of April (1:30-3:30pm) at St George’s Church Hall, all ages are welcome.

Pride of Place Showcase

The Ramsgate Neighbourhood Board launched the ‘Bring it to Life’ small grants fund, as part of the Pride in Place Programme for the town.

Creators were asked to record their journey – taking photos and videos of the process of making their ideas happen. All of the creative projects (whether finished or works-in-progress) will be displayed in St George’s Church. The church will be transformed to showcase the results of the ‘Bring It to Life’ creative grants, bringing the town’s new vision to life through the eyes of different local Ramsgate people and organisations on Sunday 19 April 2026 after the St George’s Day Spring Parade. There will be local community art, audio displays, film, music and performances. 

Ramsgate through the Senses is on the 25th and 26th of April. This is a springtime festival tending to, and awakening, the senses with a programme of workshops, talks, events, and food. Theatres, Musical Halls & Cinemas

The Granville Theatre and the Ramsgate Music Hall are hosting several events this month to keep you entertained throughout April (see below).

Don’t forget to check out what’s on at the Ramsgate Community Cinema. The cinema is planning an ‘environmental’ themed screening on Sunday 26th April.

  • ‘Keeping Them Othered’ – Helga Dorothea Fannon (Resident Artist at Hold Creative Spaces) : From 1 April (Spring).
  • ‘Summer Days’ Art Exhibition by Christo Beukes at Vincent’s Café : 4 April – 21 April.
  • ‘From The Inside Out’ Art Exhibition by David Gill at Arts in Ramsgate 8 April (additional dates TBA).
  • ‘Top Trumps in Ramsgate’ Exhibition of Pug Portraits curated by Harry Pye at The Wooden Box Gallery : 18 April – 21 April.

Hotels, Bars, Pubs, Cafés, Clubs and more

Local Hotels, Pubs, Bars and Cafés are hosting musical events and comedy events. Some events are being held in Ramsgate Clubs, check with them directly on their non members policy. The ‘April 2026 – Events in Ramsgate’ map below provides event information, location and contact information.

Comedy & Cabaret clubs

There’s the Ramsgate Comedy Club (Chuckl.) at the Granville theatre, Wilson’s Comedy Club at the Queen’s Head and Vaults Comedy at the Ramsgate Arts Club. The Alley Bar also hosts cabaret acts and comedians.

Writing, poetry and book clubs

There’s a poetry night at The Conqueror, book clubs at The Bedford Inn, The Ramsgate Arts Club and the Perico Lounge and writing groups at the Artillery Arms and The Falstaff (aka The Book Hotel – which also has a regular Friday Book & Bar nights where the Book Shop is open into the evening).

Quiz nights

There are the regular quiz nights at The Falstaff, The Bellevue Tavern, The Churchill Tavern, the San Clu Hotel, the Queens Head, Violets, and Seabird, an Easter themed quiz at The Racing Greyhound on the 2nd of April,

and a Quiz Night Fund Raiser at St Laurence Parish Church Hall on the 18th of April.

The Open Top Bus

(Route 69)

The popular Open Top bus service is running over the Easter Holidays (3rd to 19th of April).

Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny🐰 and friends who will be handing out treats on the Thanet Open Top bus over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend!

The route runs from Minnis Bay to Ramsgate via Westbrook, Margate and Broadstairs.

  • Classic Cars at The Viking Ship – free, chilled-out gathering for classic car and bike enthusiasts. Hosted by Thanet Classics and OhSoRetro on the 12th of April (11:00am–3:00pm) at the Viking Ship Cafe.
  • The Italianate Glasshouse in King George VI Park is now open on Saturdays from 11:00am-4:00pm.
  • Cobweb Classic Car Show on the runway at RAF Manston History Museum on the 12th of April (10:00am).
  • Holy Trinity Church Spring Fair – Annual Spring Fair, offering traditional fun with bargains, games, food, and refreshments, serving as community fundraisers and showcasing church history and activities, featuring stalls, tombolas, and a chance to see beautiful stained glass and the church itself on the 25th of April (12:30pm-2:30pm) at Holy Trinity Church.
