Ramsgate Day confirmed for Saturday 5 July

Love Ramsgate. Love your town.

We all need a little bit of love, don’t we?

Ramsgate Day is asking people to come out on Saturday 5 July and show the love for our quirky, characterful seaside town. A town rich in heritage, with golden sands, a great variety of shops and businesses and a brilliant football team!

Our town is a wonderful place full of good people. Times change but people don’t. Ramsgate has always had an incredibly diverse population, from royalty (think the Georgian Kings and Princes who were regular visitors, and Princess Victoria) to its various traders and our many visitors. And young people – they are our future. Ramsgate Day will host the Teenage Market, in partnership with Thanet District Council, giving the chance for young entrepreneurs, makers and developers to show and sell their work, .

We are inviting you to come into town, join in, and show your love for Ramsgate. Thinking Past, Present and Future, shops will have short workshops or displays outside, whilst films and a talk tell of earlier days in the town. We will bring youth activities to Albert Court and music and singing to the town centre, with a local sellers market and displays sharing some of the hidden gems of Ramsgate.

Let’s be proud of our town again, let’s enjoy being out, discovering things we may have forgotten, finding new places, shops we’ve never been inside, and let’s all enjoy Ramsgate Day 2025.

To bring or suggest an activity for the event, or you want to get involved, please contact ramsgateday@gmail.com / 07939 542990.

Volunteers needed

Ramsgate Day is shaping up very nicely, with a full day of activity in the town centre, including the Teenage Market supported by TDC.

We want to ask for a few helpers, to help keep the day a great experience for everyone coming to town. Just helping people find the different activities takes lots of time, and making sure all the performers and stallholders are OK is really important to everyone enjoying the experience of Ramsgate Day.

If you’d like to find out more, just contact us via ramsgateday@gmail.com or call 07939 542990. Thank you!
