Join us for Ramsgate Day, a vibrant celebration of everything we love about our town—our community, history and local businesses! This year’s event is extra special as it falls on Independents’ Day, a national campaign supporting small and independent businesses—just what Ramsgate is all about.

What’s On?

Ramsgate town centre will come alive with colour, music and activity! From local bands and musicians to dancers and young makers, the town will be buzzing with entertainment throughout the day. Expect:

• Giant games in Albert Court
• Creative activities and Pawlates for dogs in Charlotte Court
• Films and talks from Ramsgate’s rich past
• Live music and performances all day
• A grand finale with the incredible Neon Rush!

🐾 Dog-Friendly Fun!

Bringing your four-legged friend? Head to Charlotte Court where dogs can join in too with a session of Pawlates—yes, Pilates for pooches! There’ll be treats, water bowls and plenty of shade to keep your canine companions cool and content.

Shop Local – With a Twist!

We’re thrilled to welcome The Teenage Market to Ramsgate for the first time! Budding young entrepreneurs, artists and makers will showcase their talents alongside a wonderful mix of local makers and community groups on the High Street.

Come Hungry – Leave Happy!

Foodies, rejoice! Our local eateries are pulling out all the stops:

• Slice will be firing up the BBQ
• Taylor Meats are grilling their legendary sausages
• Village Grill is serving up sizzling paninis
• Star Nergis is flipping burgers
• Home Front Tea Room is offering a special price on afternoon teas to celebrate their 8th birthday—don’t forget to sing them a tune!
• Plan Burrito is also getting into the youth spirit of the day and offering a 10% discount

Explore the Vintage Trail

Head over to Addington Street for a wander through the Vintage Trail, packed with pre-loved treasures, homeware, and charming curiosities. The trail runs all weekend, so you can browse at your leisure.

Try Something New

Fancy learning a new skill? Ramsgate Day is full of opportunities to get involved! Give Nordic walking, Petanque, Football, Bowls, or even Laughter Yoga a go—you might just discover a new passion!

Step Back in Time

Visit Slice and Silvers for a nostalgic look at Ramsgate’s past. Ralph Hoult will be sharing fascinating history talks, while across the road, Peter Borrough will screen his classic local films.

For the Kids – Ramsgate Day Trail

Along with the giant games in Albert Court and workshops, make sure to have a look in your children’s schoolbags from Wednesday evening for the Ramsgate Day Trail! Kids can follow the clues by spotting letters in shop windows (look around the seagull’s neck), crack the code, and hand in their answer for a sticker. The first 50 entries will also win a Ramsgate Day cup-cake! And if you head inside Plan Burrito, Kid’s Brighthouse is doing a £2 deal on soft play for the day.
