Enjoy an Autumn & Winter Nature Walk with wildlife filmmaker Keith Ross @ramsgatebirds. From Sept to March Kingfishers over winter in Ramsgate Harbour. This is a great chance to see these very elusive birds in a very unusual setting.

Kingfisher Harbour walk ( 1-2 hours) – £10 per person (Max 4 – Min 2 people. Solo tour £20).
No charge if you don’t see a Kingfisher.

Bring binoculars if possible ( 2 pairs can be borrowed ).

    Ramsgate to Pegwell Nature Walk

    Join Keith Ross wildlife filmmaker on a six mile Nature Walk from Ramsgate Westcliff to Pegwell Bay Nature Reserve.

    The walk can be done at any time of year but the wildlife will vary with the seasons. Depending on the time of year we would hope to see a wide variety of wildlife including the worlds fastest bird the Peregrine Falcon, migrating Cuckoo & Nightingale and views of basking Common Seals & waders in the Bay. It won’t be just birds though as we’d expect to see Lizard, Slow worms, Butterfly and Dragonfly.

    Did you know Ramsgate is home to its very own seal colony? You can safely spot these beautiful marine creatures in their natural habitat – by boat, by kayak or on foot.

    Our local skippers, kayak tour providers and nature guides can help you say hello to our friendly seals while respecting and protecting them and their environment.
