RAMSGATE TO CAMBER
England Coast Path

This several-day walk offers the very best landscapes that the south-east coast has to offer. The adventure begins in Ramsgate, weaves past the White Cliffs, along the looping Dungeness peninsula, via the famous Sandwich, Dover and Hythe – until you finally reach your journey’s end at the beautiful beaches of Camber.

Distance: 66 miles – one way

From the first step at Rochester Cathedral to the last in the Shrine of St Augustine in Ramsgate, this walk is a celebration of early pilgrims and the gifts that they left behind. Will you follow in their footsteps?

This elegant route, between the Shrine of St Augustine in Ramsgate and the historic pilgrim city of Canterbury, takes in both beautiful countryside and spectacular churches.

    The walk can be done at any time of year but the wildlife will vary with the seasons. Depending on the time of year we would hope to see a wide variety of wildlife including the worlds fastest bird the Peregrine Falcon, migrating Cuckoo & Nightingale and views of basking Common Seals & waders in the Bay. It won’t be just birds though as we’d expect to see Lizard, Slow worms, Butterfly and Dragonfly.
