The Falstaff

The Falstaff Inn is a boutique hotel and restaurant complete with deli cafe/store situated in Addington Street in Ramsgate; it has a pretty courtyard garden and the royal harbour at the end of the road. We offer pet friendly accommodation in some rooms if accompanied by well behaved humans, pets are welcome in the deli cafe, the bar and the courtyard garden where we serve meals though out the day into the evening, guests staying at the Falstaff Inn benefit from a 10% discount on meals. The Falstaff Inn has car parking facilities and storage for bicycles. Built in 1801, it was lovingly and sympathetically restored in 2013 with the addition of all the modern conveniences of the 21st century expected by a discerning guest.

The Falstaff Inn has a warm welcoming feel with log burners and mulled wine in the winter months and cool refreshing gin and tonics in the summer months. It is a haven for weary walkers, cyclists and families looking for a place to kick back, relax and enjoy the local seasonal produce and Kent artisan food and drink that we offer; the Viking sour dough and warm Polish apple cake is to die for; be warned we don’t skimp on our portion sizes so please bring a healthy appetite! We offer a modern menu which is complemented by a regularly updated range of vegan and free-from dishes.

Timeout magazine October 2018 issue stated ‘Wake up Here’ – Intimate rooms are decked out with vintage furniture, soft linens and bold rugs- perfect for snuggling up in after a little late-night star gazing. Stay put for Sunday lunch if you can they do a stellar roast’.

The central position of the hotel and apartments plus excellent transport links mean that it is an ideal place for both families and corporate guests to stay. We have the sea front on our doorstep with a beautiful sandy beach and quaint Kent villages only a few miles away, great for those of you who are keen walkers and cyclists with the Cathedral City of Canterbury either a bus or train ride away.
