For the fifth year, Ramsgate's boatowners will be lighting up their boats throughout December for your delight! Come on down and enjoy the Christmas spectacle! Donations to RNLI Ramsgate are welcome, please get in touch with email@example.com if you would like to make a donation or visit the RNLI shop at Custom House, Harbour Parade. The annual Christmas Lights Switch On event will include local the handmade and vintage fair, lantern workshops, elves workshop with Looping The Loop, children's rides including the land train. There will be an inflatable helter skelter too! Candy floss and popcorn will be on sale and of course, we shall have snow! Santa will be at 26 Harbour Street and available from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Live entertainment will start from 1pm. The lights will be switched on at 4.30pm.
For the first time, we are bringing the 'Northern Lights' to Ramsgate! Working with Definitive Special Projects Ltd, a laser light company, 'Aurora Borealis' will visit Ramsgate for nine nights where a laser display will be shown across the harbour! Come and see the spectacle in the sky and as an extra bonus, you can also marvel at the lit boats in our harbour at the same time! Be one of the first to discover Ramsgate's grizzly murderous history! Tickets on sale now for the first Rotten Ramsgate Murder Tour which combines the east and west cliff murder walks. Tour takes approximately 2 hours and sets off at 7pm on Halloween (31st October) from the Obelsik (next to Wetherspoons) To book tickets click here. A fantastic opportunity to see and hear the wonderful Caritas choir perform in Ramsgate on 29th September, 3pm at St George's Church, Church Hill. This is a free concert with donations welcome for RNLI Ramsgate. Sea themed artwork from around 20 local artists will be on sale and refreshments will be served after the concert from 4pm to 5.30pm. The Heritage Open Days start on 6th September and runs until 16th, offering you the chance to visit some of our wonderful attractions for free!
