The Heritage Open Days start on 6th September and runs until 16th, offering you the chance to visit some of our wonderful attractions for free! The Addington Street Revival Fair is a day of fun and lively entertainment on Sunday, September 2nd! There's lots of fabulous food, drink and merriment to be found on our west cliff from 10am til 5pm. Hand made craft market and bric-a-brac stalls selling everything you can think of (maybe even a kitchen sink!), Looping the Loop, talks of the town, yoga, live singers and bands, cabaret and Cozi Van Tutti will be making her debut appearance! Ramsgate welcomes the UK's top kitesurfers in this final leg of the National Kitesurfing Championships on 18th and 19th August, 10 - 5pm each day on Ramsgate Main Sands with competitions running throughout the day. Free taster session are already booked up but there are always 'no shows' so you can try your luck! Meet Graeme and his team from our local Kitesurf school, Kite Pirates Kite School. In it's ninth year, Ramsgate Festival kicks off with a series of talks on our rich maritime and wartime history starting with The Roosvijk 1740 Project - a ship that was wrecked on the Goodwin Sands nearly 300 years ago and was finally excavated last year. To find out what they found out head on up to The Falstaff at 3pm on 23rd July! Each day during the week, there are a series of different talks being held at the Falstaff Hotel, Addington Street and Sailor's Church, Military Road.
